The Prime Minister’s Office says that Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is prepared to appear before the Presidential Commission of Inquiry Investigating the bond issue at any instance.
Issuing a statement, the office noted that the name of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has mentioned during the hearing at the Commission.
The statement further noted that the majority vote was secured on the 8th of January in order to assure good governance and the re-establishment of democracy.
The Prime Minister’s Office in its communiqué added that the government has at all times investigated into allegations levelled at government officers or the government and will continue to do so.
